Again with Facebook!

I know we have discussed about Facebook and again i am making that my topic. I have deactivated my Facebook since it does take a lot of my time away but what i have found out is that Facebook is not just an addiction but a way to get news. I know I have missed a lot since I am not in contact with my Facebook friends.Recently everyone is posting important information...just when i deactivate my Facebook. I can see why it is an addiction, but at the same time is a way to stay connected and up to date with news or what is going  around with someones life. I am going to have to go back to Facebook soon. lol. well i haven't told you the real reason why i deactivated  it...it was because of midterms!!! lol I needed my time to study and not have the tendency of logging into Facebook. I guess it has helped me out. But the thing is that I can't way to go back! :)

  4. @Val: I don't think it is ever erased. Your profile stays there.
@Melisa: I know it does take so much time away when you can be doing something productive.
@Joseph: I think Facebook is just something to talk about in the blog. I think is something that everyone can relate to.

  5. I know Facebook is wack! I'm thinking about deactivating mine because I tend to look at what that special someone is doing lol I don't want to become a stalker lol Plus, we can go work out rather than facebook lol and once we look even better we can activate it and put sexy pictures up lol (=

  6. I can completely relate: I've tried out the site before but it was using too much of my time (time which should be spent studying, pursuing hobbies, job opportunities, etc). Also, I noticed a lot of people would only want to talk to me on Facebook but when I would propose talking on the phone or hanging out in real life, they seemed to prefer just wanting to sit at the computer to talk. So I got rid of it because I prefer email and phone conversations. Also, Facebook can be really addictive because you want to see what other people are doing so then you may end up spending hours and hours looking through photos and comments.

  7. I know it does get weird that you can only have an actual conversation through facebook. that is why i am wondering if to go back or not? lol and yea time flies by fast when you are online. that is why i deactivated mine. but its getting a little hard. the addiction is there and the will to go back.
