Drop box???
I know how we are learning how to use drop box but is it as confusing for everyone as it is for me? I really don't know how it works. I have tried to save the file but it saves as a new document and it doesn't save on drop box. I get so frustrated with this. I don't know how this works. any advice?

ReplyDeleteI know sometimes when stuck on program it can be frustrating. Dropbox is a pretty simple application but it is one of the first of it's kind and so it is not without issues.
Tips:
Click on the Dropbox icon in your toolbar.
Find the document you wish to edit and make sure that is synched up by seeing if it has green check for ready or blue arrows for updating.
When the document has a green check on it, double click it to open it.
Make the changes needed and click "save" NOT "save as"
Once you have saved the document, you will notice the blue uploading arrows in Dropbox on the document.
An error can happen if more than one person is updating the document at the same time. Dropbox will then save each update as separate documents.
Finally, if that doesn't work, make sure you're still connected to internet when trying to save. If you are not connected, it will save as a new document to your computer.
